I built a suspended kids bed for our one year old son. It fits the Mitsubishi L300 4WD, but our other campers as well.
The popup roof is taking up the majority of the roof but there is still some space left to fit a small roof rack above the cabin.
I bought two rear seats out of a Renault Espace including mounting rails. Safety-wise they offer integrated 3-point seat belts and isofix to mount a childs seat.
I used a Thule 953 (28cm high) roof rack to mount the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker II awning to the Mitsubishi L300.
I’ve had a large low-profile popup roof installed. The roof only adds a few centimeters in height, so my camper will still fit in my garage.
The turbo sounded fishy, so I looked for a replacement. On eBay I found a seller offering new turbo’s for a Mitsubishi L300.
I’m going to install a slide-out kitchen under the couch. A Waeco/Dometic Coolmatic CD30 drawer fridge is perfect for this.
Brantho-Korrux 3 in 1 is described as rust preventative paint, primer and top coating, all in one. Because it’s available in just about any RAL colour, it could save some time.
I’ve used POR-15 for years to prevent or stop rust. The coating is a bit flexible and doesn’t get damaged easily.
