I wanted to add remote paging to my alarm system and came across the TK103B GPS/SMS/GPRS tracker. I’m quite impressed with the possibilities of this device.
The leisure battery is charged by both the alternator and solar panel. I used a solar panel kit containing everything needed except a battery.
The dual battery system consists of a larger starting battery (100 Ah) in the default location and a second battery (110 Ah AGM) in the right rear corner.
The Hella Supertone horn kit is almost a direct drop-in replacement for the stock horns. I would estimate these horns are about 30% louder than stock.
The rear seats for the kids take up a lot of space, so the kitchen had to fit under the bed.
I’ve used a Dometic HSG 2445 2 burner hob and sink combination because of the small footprint.
The camper van will have basic acoustic and thermal insulation on walls, floor and ceiling.
I built a suspended kids bed for our one year old son. It fits the Mitsubishi L300 4WD, but our other campers as well.
The popup roof is taking up the majority of the roof but there is still some space left to fit a small roof rack above the cabin.
I bought two rear seats out of a Renault Espace including mounting rails. Safety-wise they offer integrated 3-point seat belts and isofix to mount a childs seat.
